The overarching topic stems from the speakers’ common practices as writers and theoreticians in fantasy, fiction, and everyday cultures of being and becoming. Since fantasy and literature in general is inherently interdisciplinary in inspiration and exploration, the talk will be a wide-ranging discussion on the same, keeping ‘literary materiality’ as the central focus. The talk will encompass non-human objects and artefacts alongside ‘materiality’ in light of nature, bodies and aesthetics.
